So the summer is here and its time for an entry. Im working at this place called homegoods which just so happens to be in the marshalls megastore; so I work at "marshalls" I dont deal with cash registers and clothes, I just move furniture and big oriental rugs and organize wine glasses to make them look nice. I like havin a real job, it makes me feel productive.Unfortunatley they give me weird hours that most people would hate - 2:00-10:00 or 4:30 to 10:00. It gets in the way of hanging out with my friends. Ive never really had something that took up 30 hours of my life in weird times so Im trying to get used to balancing work, my friends, and spending time with Carrie.
Im still looking at Celicas and shit, Hopefully my dad can either co-sign a loan, or just front me the money so I wouldnt have to pay interest. I could manage paying 200 dollars a month or more. Speaking of money, I need to pay Chris Bye 300 dollars still cuz I ran into his fucking car. haha, its all good.
Ive been having a really good time with life recently though, A little bit of partying here and there, but to be honost I just enjoy spending time with close friends, its just more fun to me. There are all these books that give little quotes and shit at homegoods and one quote really got me thinking. It was a book about different famous toast's. It said something like,
"May we be all be lucky enough to have a few close friends rather then a thousand acquantinces"
I have a bunch of shit to do in the next couple of weeks. I wanna go kayaking so bad, but whenever anyone goes I have work god damnit. Im in the process of learning what I have to do to get on medicin for add, which will be sweet if it actually works. itll help me a lot. Im in the process of working out, I need to talk to Steve Sutton about workin out and shit, but for now I just try to do as many pushups and curlups every other day. I need to RMA my atix700 sometime.
Im taking carrie to some tropical island whether she likes it or not. haha, its gonna be the best time of my life. Ive never been anywhere cool except nebraska and.... well..... The jersey shore? Im thinking aruba but if anyone readin this has a better place and a reason why I should go, tell me. Id tell you to call but I havent had my cellphone for a while now. Its not that hard to get by, if I want to talk to someone Ill get in touch with them. I gotta play poker more often with Johnson.
and last but not least, I had to go to a meeting at drexel which was pretty sweet. Im in their program but I really dont think I want to do computer science as my major anymore. I think Im going to see about making going to a school of business or something, I have a long time to decide and Im not going to just jump into the first thing that comes to my head.... sorta like drexel.... Ill continue to try my hardest in college, Its not that hard at all.
